Managing Life with Cancer, Kelowna

Main Audience: Patients, families and their supporters
Program: The program is facilitated by clinical counsellors from the BC Cancer Agency with assistance and information also provided by long-term cancer survivors and volunteers. The program consistes of 8 sessions including:

• The mind/body connection and it's role in health
• Managing anxiety and concerns 
• Communicating with family, friends, co-workers and the medical community
• Ways of thinking and mindfulness
• Identifying personal strengths
• Setting goals and making changes
• Healthy lifestyles
• Evaluating priorities and exploring personal spirituality and meaning
