What are the BC Cancer Foundation's fundraising expenses?
It is very important to us that the BC Cancer Foundation be a cost-efficient organization. As a consequence, we work very hard to keep our expenses as low as possible. In the fiscal year 2008, BC Cancer Foundation’s expenses were 13 per cent. Over the past five fiscal years - 2004 to 2008 - the BC Cancer Foundation’s expenses have averaged 16 per cent which is well within acceptable standards for health care charities.
