BC Cancer Foundation Lifestyles Lottery over 50% sold!
Oct. 11, 2006, Vancouver, B.C - The BC Cancer Foundation is delighted to announce that 50% of all available tickets in the BC Cancer Foundation Lifestyles Lottery have been sold.
“The commute is getting out of control—here’s a way to beat it!” said Mary McNeil, president & CEO of the BC Cancer Foundation. "This year’s Grand Prize Lifestyle packages are all about location. From Vancouver’s Shaughnessy to Bear Mountain on Vancouver Island to Silver Star in the Okanagan, we’ve got B.C. covered!”
Grand Prize Shaughnessy includes a classic West Coast mansion in the heart of Vancouver’s most prestigious neighbourhood. It boasts a personal indoor spa, an outdoor BBQ kitchen, and comes with a 2007 BMW 525i and $25,000 cash. Grand Prize Island features spectacular views of downtown Victoria from an exclusive Bear Mountain resort retreat, and includes a 2007 Audi A3 and $25,000 cash. Grand Prize Okanagan offers a luxurious condo at Silver Star Mountain Resort, a 2007 Porsche Cayman S and $25,000 cash.

Proceeds from Lifestyles Lottery will be directed exclusively towards cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency. The BC Cancer Agency, a member agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provides a cancer control program for the people of British Columbia, including prevention, screening and early detection, diagnosis and treatment services, support programs, community programs, research and education. The BC Cancer Agency delivers care throughout the province and through centres in Vancouver, on Vancouver Island in Victoria, in the Southern Interior in Kelowna and in the Fraser Valley in Surrey.
There are 4,605 prizes in all and just 115,000 tickets available at a cost of $100 each or 3-packs for $250.
