NANAIMO OFFICE MOVES TO NEW LOCATION
The BC Cancer Foundation is delighted to announce a new office space for its Nanaimo office. After a year and a half in the Nanaimo North Town Centre, the BC Cancer Foundation has relocated to 652 Milton Street (Old City Quarter).
“Over 50% of the BC Cancer Agency’s Vancouver Island patients live north of the Malahat,” says Development officer Zoë Campbell. “The BC Cancer Foundation originally opened its Nanaimo office to better serve our donors and the community. We look forward to welcoming our donors to our new location.”
“I’d also like to say a special thank you to all the staff and management at Nanaimo North Town Centre who have truly been champions for the BC Cancer Foundation,“ continues Campbell.
The new office is open from Monday to Friday but if you would like to visit please call first to ensure staff is onsite and not out at meetings.

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE BC CANCER AGENCY ON VANCOUVER ISLAND AND THE INN AT LAUREL POINT

The BC Cancer Agency on Vancouver Island and the Inn at Laurel Point are proud to announce a partnership.
The Inn at Laurel Point hopes in a tangible way to ease the financial and emotional burden of those people undergoing treatment, while at the same time, support such a world-class research and treatment facility. Among the many elements of this partnership, the Inn at Laurel Point offers BC Cancer Agency patients special rates year round while they are undergoing care at the BC Cancer Agency’s Vancouver Island Centre.
The partnership is especially poignant for the Inn at Laurel Point because BC Cancer Agency and BC Cancer Foundation was a special interest of Mrs. Artie Arsens, the Inn at Laurel Point’s late patron. This partnership is a very fitting way to start honouring the legacy of such a great community minded lady.
Because the Inn at Laurel Point recognizes that people have different levels of comfort when it comes to accommodations, the offer is also good at Paul’s Motor Inn, owned by the Inn at Laurel Point.
