About the BC Cancer Foundation, Fraser Valley Centre
BC Cancer Agency, Fraser Valley Centre opened in 1995 to bring cancer care closer to home for those who live in communities from Delta, along the Fraser River, to Hope. The regional cancer centres deliver cancer treatment based on provincial standards and guidelines established by the Agency. Those consistent guidelines have led B.C. to have the best cancer outcomes in Canada — the lowest incidence rates for most cancers and the highest survival rates for all cancers. As an outpatient facility, BC Cancer Agency, Fraser Valley Centre provides patients with:
- Diagnosis and Treatment and follow-up care
- Patient and Family Counselling
- Nutrition Services
- Library Services
- Oral Oncology Services
- Access to Clinical Trials
- Pain and Symptom Management and Palliative Care
- On-site Pharmacy
- Inter-disciplinary Research services
BC Cancer Agency is committed to translating knowledge derived from basic research into clinical practice as quickly as possible for the benefit of cancer patients.
