Coast to Coast for Cancer
 Dave Procter, a lifelong resident of the Comox Valley, is giving back to the community and the company that has been so good to him. Dave is an active realtor and part owner of RE/MAX Ocean Pacific Realty. This June, he’ll be taking 10 weeks off work, for his “Coast to Coast for Cancer” bike ride across Canada.
Although Dave and his family have not been affected by cancer, he has witnessed a number of friends and clients deal with this unforgiving disease. His goal is to ride across Canada, encouraging other realtors to ride with him for the day, to raise money for cancer research and visit as many RE/MAX offices as possible.
Using the online fundraising tools available to him through the BC Cancer Foundation website, Dave is directing donations from his colleagues, clients and friends towards breast cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency. Dave, recently 50 years young, will be accompanied by his life partner, Leah, on this cross country adventure. Leah is a realtor as well as a breast cancer supporter and has participated in the “Weekend to End Breast Cancer” for the past two consecutive years.
