Christopher's Steak & Seafood Restaurant is hosting a Mother's Day fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation for breast cancer research.

When: Thursday May 7 2009. This is the 5th anniversary of this gruelling 400 km cycling epic to raise funds to support cancer patients at the BC Cancer Agency, Centre for the Southern Interior, located in Kelowna. A team of cyclists will ride from Kelowna to Delta: 15 hrs in total, cover 400km and climb 12,000 ft to support the BC Cancer Foundation and its vision of a world free from cancer.  

Time: early hours of the moring on the longest day of the year -- until it's done!
Start: Mainstreet Community Church, Bernard Avenue, Kelowna
Details: Riders from Kelowna and area are seeking pledges to reach their goal of $50,000. These funds are committed to purchase new infusion pumps for use by patients of the Cancer Center for the Southern Interior.
